Description:

Execute and operate all aspects of VC including call set up, end user training, troubleshooting  & follow up through escalation of trouble incidents occurred.
Lead or assist, as required, supporting special events, high profile senior executive meetings, town halls requiring VC, as directed by client including:
·       Perform & report on second level problem determination.
·       Troubleshoot, assess, & coordinate equipment & systems repair as required.
·       Create, update, & resolve trouble tickets as assigned.
·       Interface with technology vendors for equipment servicing, training, etc. whether warranty or routine maintenance.
·       Provide training & client support to end users in the operations of audio-visual systems.
·       Compile & maintain room & equipment inventory.
·       Create & modify user documentation & standard operation procedures (SOPs) as required.
·       Interact in person, by phone, and/or e-mail directly with client management & end-users.
·       Understand & adhere to Client¹s SOPs.
·       Recommend measures to improve performance & increase efficiency.
·       Manage tickets from open to closure working with the CNOC if applicable. Full ownership of any tickets and coordinate feedback to the End User Support TP Service Desks
·       New Endpoint onboarding activities

Services shall be performed onsite at the End User site in Turin

Data & Voice Senior Network Administrator

La figura professionale si inserirà in un contesto lavorativo esistente integrandosi in un lavoro di equipe volto al supporto dello sviluppo del business, che dovrà portare a degli obiettivi tangibili.
Le metodologie di lavoro dovranno essere compatibili con quelle esistenti e sarà valutata, oltre che la capacità di gestione di reti IP, anche l’esperienza pregressa in contesti analoghi.
Si richiede: capacità di analisi e di problem solving lavorando anche in autonomia garantendo soluzioni efficaci, spiccata intuizione nell’analisi delle problematiche dei sistemi interni, resistenza allo stress nella gestione delle criticità e proattività nella ricerca di soluzioni di network più appropriate in base alle evoluzioni dei sistemi.


Il candidato ideale
Il candidato ideale è responsabile nell’identificare ed analizzare i requisiti di progetto, definire le architetture, sviluppare soluzioni, integrare, verificare e validare sistemi di rete dati e voce. Possiede una Laurea in Ingegneria Informatica o delle Telecomunicazioni con una esperienza professionale nel ruolo almeno triennale.
Costituisce requisito di base la certificazione Cisco CCNA R&S e/o CCNA collaboration e risulta preferenziale la certificazione Cisco CCNP R&S e/o CCNP collaboration.
Ha buone doti relazionali, flessibilità e capacità di lavorare in ambienti in rapido sviluppo e velocità di comprensione delle problematiche




Possiede una conoscenza approfondita di:
  • tecnologie in Rame, Fibra, ADSL, SHDSL, VDSL2, ISDN, POTS, FTTH, FTTH-NGN;
  • protocollo TCP/IP e dei protocolli DNS, DHCP, RADIUS;
  • principali standard e protocolli della famiglia IEEE 802 e di layer 2 (802.1W e successivi, 802.1Q, VLANS, HSRP/VRRP, LACP, VTP, STP, MSTP, etc.);
  • principali protocolli di routing dinamico (in particolare del protocollo BGP) e comprovata esperienza nella gestione di Policy Based Routing ed Object Tracking;
  • tecnologie VoIP e protocollo di segnalazione SIP con comprovata esperienza nell’analisi di Call Flow complessi e la risoluzione di problematiche in ambiente multivendor comprese soluzioni OpenSource (Avaya, Cisco, Asterisk, OpenSIP, etc.);
  • utilizzo e configurazione di strumenti di analisi di protocollo come ad es. Wireshark.


Costituisce requisito fondamentale una buona conoscenza della lingua inglese, sia scritta che orale.
L’inquadramento e la retribuzione saranno commisurati all’esperienza effettivamente maturata.

The role: 
We are looking for network support engineers: 
  • Experience of customer service ideally gained in a customer facing environment 
  • Fully CCNA qualified or relevant experience
  • GERMAN/FRENCH/ITALIAN/SPANISH/DUTCH and English proficiency in both verbal & written form
  • Flexibility to work either 12 hr shifts (weekends, nights, and national holidays) or day 8 hr shifts (Mon – Fri). This depends on business requirements. 
  • Must be EU passport holder, willing to relocate, culturally sensitive, appreciate cultural differences.
Purpose of role: 
This role is a mix of tier 1 & 2 network support for our major telecommunications customer. That means engineer determines the issue, actions by engaging relevant party, keeps client updated till solution is provided. Builds up knowledge on Cisco switches, has an access to EMEA & US devices. Learns company’s procedures and their global customers. Once fully confident then further, 2nd level is added; fixing faults, handling global clients of various technical expertise.
Working Hours:
In order to provide a multilingual support you will be required to work various shifts in order to cover 24/7 operation. Shifts will be assigned to you by your manager. It will be either 8hr (Mon – Fri) or 12 hr shifts (Mon – Sun), allowing for continuous periods of rest.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities in tier 2:
  • Multi-platform Cisco support, Juniper & proprietary solutions (i.e. netgates)
  • Direct customer and account team interface providing day to day network support
  • Manage trouble investigation, isolation and steady state recovery
  • Assists users to identify and solve complex connection/communication problems
  • Workload breakdown: most of the incidents are related to high-end MPLS solutions at their edge (CE-PE), monitored proactively by an automated alerting system; along with that, also proprietary low-end VPN tunnelling solutions are supported, with a mixed reactive-proactive model. A number of cases regard other VoIP solution. 
Technical Skills Profile:
  • A Background in Maintenance and/or Managed Service Sales within the Network arena
  • Helpdesk Experience
  • Cisco CCNA Qualified or relevant NOC experience of at least 1 year
  • Background knowledge of Frame Relay, Ethernet (MAN), ATM, IMA; knowledge of ISDN is an advantage.
  • Problem resolution will require knowledge of the back-up methods such as ISDN, iBGP, HSRP, VRRP), troubleshooting, routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP and EIGRP
  • Basic knowledge of Windows, Unix, ticketing systems such as Remedy
  • Knowledge of MPLS and QoS policing is not required but is an advantage.
Soft Skills Profile: 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with the team, corporate customers of different technical expertise and all levels of management
  • Ability to efficiently resolve customer’s problems and escalate further to tier 3 as per agreed service level agreements or to other 3rd party as necessary
  • Professionalism at all times, assertiveness and accountability, good timekeeping, flexibility
  • Ability to work well under pressure, set priorities and comfortable making decisions
  • Drive enthusiasm, initiative, commitment and self-motivation, respect for colleagues, desire to learn.
