Cyber Security Intern
The successful candidate
will join the Managed Security Services Team based in Rome, providing back-up
to operations and delivery activities, helping in the prevention, detection and
response to cyber security events.
In addition he/she would be
expected to manage a project to increase security capability. The project will
be selected at the start of the internship based on the interests, strengths
and learning goals. The project will include:
- developing a project plan
- carrying out research and understanding related best practices
- developing/recommending a solution
Desiderable
skills are:
- Have an interest in cyber security
- Attention to detail – organized, analytical, practical
- Be able to take the initiative and work to deadlines. Able to solve problems and come up with solutions
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good written and verbal skills
- Knowledge in the following areas:
- Networking Principles, Internet Protocol Suite (TCP/IP), Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks
- Cyber Security Principles
- Ethical Hacking
- Good Knowledge of Windows and Linux OS
It will considered as a plus the ownership of one
of Security IT Certifications (p. es.: CCNA Security, CCNA CyberOps, Security
+, etc..)
