Canale Lavoro: Network Specialist cercasi
VEM SISTEMI è un’azienda specializzata nella progettazione, realizzazione e gestione di infrastrutture di Information Communication Technology e di Building Automation. Fornisce servizi ad elevato valore aggiunto, quali: consulenza, progettazione, fornitura, realizzazione, manutenzione e assistenza di infrastrutture di rete locale, rete geografica e sicurezza informatica e tecnologica con soluzioni avanzate e tecnologie altamente performanti.
Il titolare della posizione, che risponderà al team leader dell’area Network & Data Center, avrà l’obiettivo di progettare e gestire infrastrutture di rete.
La risorsa ricoprirà in autonomia le seguenti mansioni:
o Progettazione di strutture avanzate di rete
o Attività di ricerca e sviluppo
o Attività di PreSale e gestione clienti
o Attività di Helpdesk 2°/3° livello
o Attività di configurazione e gestione problematiche in ambito routing, switching, Vpn e Voip
Per un corretto svolgimento del ruolo, si richiede:
o Laurea in Ingegneria elettronica/ telecomunicazioni o Diploma di perito elettronico/elettrico
o Esperienza minima di tre anni in ambito networking
o Buona conoscenza dell’inglese tecnico
o Disponibilità a trasferte
o Disponibilità alla reperibilità
| Nel processo di selezione, sarà data particolare attenzione e priorità alle candidature in possesso di almeno una tra le seguenti certificazioni: CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, CCSP, CCIE. |

Principle Duties and Responsibilities in tier 1 and 2:
• Multi platform Cisco router and switch support
• Direct customer and account team interface providing day to day network support
• Manage trouble investigation, isolation and steady state recovery
• Assists users to identify and solve complex connection/communication problems
Technical Skills Profile
A Background in Maintenance and/or Managed Service Sales within the Network arena
An in-depth understanding of service delivery to the highest quality standards
Helpdesk Experience
Cisco CCNA Qualified
Background knowledge of frame relay, ATM, DSL, MPLS
Problem resolution will require knowledge of the ISDN methods used for invoking backup solutions, troubleshooting, routing protocols such as OSPF, RIP, BGP and EIGRP
Candidates with no CCNA will only be considered when able to demonstrate 2 years relevant NOC Experience.
Proficiency in the use of PC systems (Hardware, Operating systems) and applications
Please note that this role has responsibilities of both level 1 & 2
Soft Skills Profile
Must be able to communicate effectively with the team, customers and all levels of management
Excellent telephone manner – you will talk to corporate customers on daily basis

7 luglio 2010. I vincitori italiani di NetRiders Italy Alessio Russo (Istituto Don Bosco Genova), Marco Colombo (Eforhum Milano) e Carlo Cicciriello (Accademia del Levante Bari) si sono ritrovati per gli uffici Cisco di Vimercate per partecipare alla competizione internazionale Netriders Challenge. Per ben 3 ore oltre 120 partecipanti di Europa, Medio Oriente e Africa sono stati impegnati a rispondere a domande tecniche e risolvere esercitazioni di rete online. Obiettivo: vincere un viaggio premio negli Stati Uniti.
Purtroppo anche quest'anno tra i vincitori nessun italiano:
Overall top male score - Toma Marini, Croatia
Overall top female score – Gordana Tanackovic, Serbia
CEE/Russia and CIS top score – Maros Kukan, Slovakia
European top score – Andreas Broerken, Germany
MEA top score – Matthew Nicole, South Africa
